Week 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
After
a wonderful family Christmas and New Year period, Rodney sadly went back to
work starting on shift work. With Max and I still on holiday this week we left
home during the day so Rodney could get some well-deserved undisturbed sleep.
Often we would end up at my mum’s house. This is a meeting place for the cousins.
In the picture we have William 3, Elvy 2, and Max 2. Celebrating New Year with stylish hats.
Shop till you drop! I think I’ll miss out on ‘Mother of the
Year’ again this year and the year has only just begun. This photo is a result
of us going to the movies (Marvin and the chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked- The first movie
Max has sat and watched without running through the theatre) with the cousins
and Aunty Donna then hitting the shops for some post-Christmas bargains.
Rodney and I have decided that 2012 is the year of the Cars.
We are well overdue for an upgrade! On Christmas Eve my station wagon broke down
and on Christmas day Rodney’s car broke down- It was a sign! This year we will
also be pulling Rodney’s EH Holden out of the shed and returning it to its
former glory. Hopefully it will be as close as possible to what it looked like
when when his parents brought it brand new 1964. I can’t wait to work on this exciting
project with my husband. But in the meantime, could the sexy sportswagon be my new car?
